1、操作条件通常情况下、低温操作有利于物理吸附,适当升高温度有利于化学吸附。但采取升温还是降温,必须以吸附过程中吸附烙变为依据。若烙变为正值,则温度升高对吸附操作有利;相反则降低温度对吸附过程有利。温度对气相吸附的影响比对液相吸附的影响大。对于气体吸附,压力增加有利于吸附,压力降低有利于解吸。

2、吸附剂的性质,吸附剂的性质如孔隙率、孔径、粒度等,影响比表面积,从而影响吸附效果。一般说来,吸附剂粒径越小或微孔越发达,其比表面积越大,吸附容量也越大。但在液相吸附过程中,对相对分子质量大的吸附质,微孔提供的表面积不起很大作用。

3、吸附质的性质与浓度对于气相吸附,吸附质的当量直径、相对分子质量、沸点、饱和性等影响吸附量。若用同种活性炭作吸附剂,对于结构相似的有机物,相对分子质量和不饱和性越大,沸点越高,越易被吸附。对于液相吸附,吸附质的分子极性、相对分子质量、在溶剂中的溶解度等影响吸附量。相对分子质量越大,分子极性越强,溶解度越小,越易被吸附。吸附质浓度越高,吸附量越少。

4、吸附剂的活性吸附剂的活性是吸附剂吸附能力的标志,常以吸附剂上所吸附的吸附质量与所有吸附剂量之比的百分数来表示。其物理意义是单位吸附剂所能吸附的吸附质量。
